Literally twenty-four hours

before commemorating the women

"The Womens’ Day Celebrations 2023".

In haste, I sat in a seat offered to me.

Seated on the seat next to the aisle of the bus,

here comes a groom craving for warmth- 

the bridal victim for his bus tour… myself.

Confused, stunned, and in fear looked around,

 the gathering attended and eagerly kept watching. 

What a sight! their eyes kept glazing-

nothing else, so I turned myself,

looked at this groom in disapproval 

who got off the bus in a flash he saw my reaction.

Yet I kept shivering, everything around me was so cold
